TERMS OF SALE

Terms and Conditions
of Sales

Noé-les-Mallets · Côte des Bar · Aube

Any order for products implies unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale supplemented or modified by our specific conditions, which cancel any contrary clause that may appear in the purchase conditions, purchase orders, or other commercial documents.

In the event of an order received from the buyer, it will only be considered definitively accepted by us after written acceptance from us.

The prices shown are inclusive of all taxes (applicable VAT, excise duties and all other taxes applicable on the day the order is concluded; any changes may be reflected in the price of the products).

Product prices may change at any time according to Champagne Veuve Doussot's pricing policy. Products ordered are billed at the price in effect at the time the order is placed.

Product offers and prices are valid only while they are visible on the website and while stocks last.

The prices shown are net and exclude shipping costs. Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on the number of bottles ordered and are displayed before order confirmation.

Champagne Veuve Doussot undertakes to accept orders placed in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and within the limits of available stock.

In the event of a stock shortage, Champagne Veuve Doussot undertakes to communicate the necessary supply times to obtain the desired product or to offer a replacement product.

Orders will only be prepared and shipped after payment has been received. Champagne Veuve Doussot reserves the right to cancel any non-compliant or suspicious orders, as well as those from a customer with whom there is any existing dispute.

Champagne Veuve Doussot delivers exclusively within Metropolitan France. Shipping costs are automatically calculated on our website based on the number of bottles ordered.

Orders are delivered within 10 business days of receiving payment. Non-business days include Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and days when road transport is prohibited.

The order is delivered to the delivery address chosen by the Customer. The Customer is required to carefully inspect their packages upon delivery and immediately report any issues to the carrier. No claim will be accepted if the Customer has accepted their packages without reservation upon delivery.

Any error or modification made by the Customer to a delivery order in progress will result in an extension of the scheduled delivery time. The additional costs will be borne by the Customer.

Every order implies a payment defined according to the terms and means specified in the ordering process.

Payments by credit card are processed through a secure online payment service (Stripe). A credit card payment order cannot be cancelled. Therefore, the buyer's payment for the order is irrevocable, without prejudice to the Customer's right of withdrawal as defined in Article 6 below.

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify reasons or pay penalties.

Procedure: To exercise this right, the Customer must notify Champagne Veuve Doussot of their decision to withdraw by email to champagne.veuve.doussot@wanadoo.fr or by post to the registered office address, before the expiry of the 14-day period.

In the event of withdrawal, Champagne Veuve Doussot will reimburse all payments received, including delivery costs, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving the decision to withdraw.

Exception: In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been unsealed or opened after delivery. Therefore, any unsealed or opened bottle cannot be returned or refunded.

The goods sold remain the property of the seller until full payment of the price. The risks associated with the goods are transferred to the buyer upon physical delivery of the products.

In accordance with Article L.3342-1 of the French Public Health Code, the sale of alcohol to minors under the age of eighteen (18) is prohibited. The Customer confirms that they are at least 18 years old when placing their order on the website.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679) and the amended French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, Champagne Veuve Doussot is committed to protecting the personal data of its customers.
