A year in a glass.

Ernestine is the house's historic vintage cuvée. Unlike multi-year blends, it tells a unique story: that of a specific season, its vagaries, and what the vine produced at its best that year.

70% Pinot Noir for structure and power, 30% Chardonnay for finesse and length. A balance we don't seek, we wait for. We wait for the vintage to allow it, and when it arrives, we bottle it without further intervention.

This is the vintage for large gatherings, important birthdays, moments that deserve to be worthy of the wine.

Tasting Notes

Trois moments pour lire un champagne.

01

Appearance

Deep golden color with amber highlights. Fine and persistent effervescence.

02

NOSE

Complex and delicate. White flowers, ripe apricot, acacia honey. A light toasty touch reveals the ripeness of the Pinot Noir.

03

PALATE

Powerful and vinous on the attack. Supple texture. Apricot and honey in the mid-palate. Long, slightly licorice finish.
