For Lise, Lucas and Lou.

The letter L stands for Lise, Lucas and Loup, the three children of Stéphane and Nathalie Joly. This cuvée bears their initials because it is designed for them: so that they may inherit a preserved terroir, a passed-down know-how, a champagne that will still exist when they are old enough to understand it.

The L by VD Blanc de Noirs is made from a single plot of land, currently undergoing organic conversion. The Pinot Noir is vinified to extract the juice without adding color. The result is a white wine of great complexity, full-bodied and long-lasting, with remarkably precise aromas of red fruit.

A champagne unlike anything else in the range, and in the region.

Tasting Notes

Trois moments pour lire un champagne.

01

Appearance

White with intense golden highlights. Very fine bubbles, delicate and sustained effervescence.

02

NOSE

Indulgent and charming. Raspberry jelly, redcurrant, fresh pomegranate, light note of plum.

03

PALATE

Silky and fruity on the attack. Enveloping texture. Redcurrant and citrus developing, natural tension. Persistent and balanced finish.
